About Li
Over 15 years of clinical social work experience
Li (pronounced Lee) Soileau is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Approved Clinical Supervisor whose interests are working with individuals, couples, and children. She specializes in treating grief, depression, anxiety, and trauma. Her belief is that intervention is a form of prevention and that recurring emotional and behavioral health issues limit our ability to experience peace. Li's mission is to help clients cope with intense emotions and achieve goals that lead to greater fulfillment. She has a Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University and has worked in Baton Rouge, Denham Springs, and New Orleans. In addition to her work as a therapist she has a background in program development, nonprofit management, and board engagement. Li has served as a volunteer on the board of the Florida Parishes Human Services Authority and supervises Master of Social Work professionals working toward licensure in the state of Louisiana. She was born in Rivas, Nicaragua, grew up in the Greater New Orleans Area, and has lived in Baton Rouge since 2005. Current interests include expanding her teletherapy services to reach clients who may have difficulty attending sessions in an office setting.
